Title: Remove diesel engine from siege towers....
Post by: Rebelyell on August 22, 2012, 12:22:15 pm
or make steering device inside tower(thats better imo),

I am getting sick when some randomer pusch my 10 tons siege tower with force without any problem.
Its almost sure then someone will screw it up.
My solution is to make it require x amount of members of the same team to pus it froward,
Ah and for god sake make us able to push that back.

Catapult works fine in my opinion because it is small so 1 or 2 peps can operate it.

I have wanted to do this for a while, at least make the steering controlled by the keyboard, but it's been buried lower on the to-do list over the past months. Hopefully I can get to this eventually.

Agreed. Perhaps two could start pushing it in a very very very slow pace while six pushes in a very slow pace. Plus, those who are pushing should be at the side of the siege tower itself, let it be pushing towards a wall or away.

And perhaps - if that would be the case, Siege Towers should not be able to pushed UP a hill, no matter what - as it is as unrealistic and stupid as diesel engine towers.
