I was playing this morning (EU1). We had this minor conflict with Quentry - he apparently ran over me, then i get almost killed by enemy. I was so pissed off that i hit him and his horse - he didn't die of that, neither his horse. Also we won that round anyway. None of us hit M so i thought we were cool.

Two rounds later i was just running off the spawn, when i ~ to look around and, to my dismay, i saw him charging behind me with couched lance. He killed me and then immediately left the server. Here's the screen

Was there, can confirm - team couched at spawn with no enemy in sight seconds before leaving server.

Not the same. I hit him not without a reason, and he didn't die, and the round was ending (we won), so it could be considered as no hindrance to one's game. What he did was exactly disturbing my play and affected the team's chance of winning that round. And even more than that he left server after tking me like some child, clearly scared of consequences or/and not willing to take responsibility for his actions.

I am not saying that i was right hitting him, should've just hit M. Therefore i am prepared to take any punishment that i deserve. But i also demand proper one for quentry as well.

Sure, that's why it's called reason, especially when i didn't need help and he was just propably being greedy and running into melee fight. Instead of riding away and pick some other target, he just fucked things up. Doesn't really look good to me no matter how you put it.

Anyway, by pointing out my wrongdoing doesn't really make him look better and legit to kill me at spawn and then leaving server, does it?

As much as it makes sense, i don't really believe it. I used ~ so i could see that after pressing x, you just ran straight into me, despite me trying to avoid the collision. And you left server so ... in time, right after couching me. Nah, i don't believe it.

P.S. Lol if you compare it with RL, it's like a guy makes hit-and-run and when he's caught, he says "lol i had freeze and didn't see him"  :mrgreen: It's a joke btw.

P.S. stealing 90% hp of horse isn't bannable action, is ut?

Well, i don't.
Not really, if that horse and his owner ran over you earlier and let the enemy nearly kill you.

Don't make up excuses, be honest in thoses threads. No need to spam them too, with half-assed apologies, or sarcasm remarks. State your business, and be gone.

Following the situation, i'd vouch for :

Warn Felix for intentional teamwounding (press M when bumped by an ally wich results in a free hit on you, don't rage hit back). Even if it's at the end of the round, and doesn't affect the result, it's not allowed.


Ban Quentry for intentional teamkilling, then leaving server. (And probably ban him longer for denying his fault ("wtf lag didn't know that i pressed "x", and that i strangely disconnect JUST after couching him, in the perfect direction"... come on dude...) Since it's also at the beginning of a round, this death + leave (2 less players on one side) can change the balance.
Could be interesting to have then a screenshot of the two teams, to see if the other team could really benefit of thoses 2 deaths, and if there's... friends... in the other team. I need more elements for my over-imaginative mind to make up slightly-possible scenarios.

Alright,

Felix, as you say, you're not completely in the clear here, you revenge teamwounded and thusly should be slapped on the back of the hand for thinking that was a good idea, Quentry merely made a mistake.

However, Quentry ballsed up any chance of being an innocent party with his teamkill. Frankly, I don't believe his excuse, it's about as overused as "My brother bludgeoned me and took the controls", you know the one I mean.

Druzhina_Quentry banned for two (2) days for intentional teamkilling.
Felix, next time, don't revenge teamhit, it's bad for your health and if I catch you/get any evidence that you've done it, then you know the consequences.

Also "No admin", I roll through here every three or so days, no one else seems to though.
