I might be late to the party, but when did this get implemented? And why doesn't thrust get the same limitation to turning while attacking?

It's not too bad 1v1 (well, at least it's not completely unplayable), but overheading an enemy near teammates with a 2h or polearm is probably the most frustrating thing ever.
I didn't have much trouble doing it as a 1h, just because the speed of the animation means the enemy doesn't have as much time to shuffle out of the way (1h thrust got completely boned by the change, though).

I use overheads with my Military Hammer all the time. Fucking love it :D

Maybe I'll let overhead ready position for 1h and 2h allow a relatively powerful pommel strike in my nudge system. That is if Shik ever makes the anim and if the nudge stuff makes it into the mod. I'm thinking about a rather long stagger that allows a follow up attack if the victim is attacking during the pommel strike. That way overheads might inspire some fear again.

I can't abuse thrust stun on pesky 2h stabspammers anymore, when I chamber their thrusts I miss about half the time cause I can't adjust my aim fast enough.

In duel I seem to hit people more with the 'drag' portion of the overhead attack, not the initial swing. Maybe that's me being bad, but overheads are much less reliable than they ever were.
