Back then in the old days and still today the Wolpertingers are a topic surrounded by mystery. It is said that they were first formed by the King of a lesser kingdom as his personal spies or special guard. First without a name, the denizens of the kingdom called them after the fabled animal cause sometime people would claim to have seen one of them, but no one ever could prove their existence.
Another version of the story gives them the role of the loyal friends of a young nobleman who was betrayed by his uncle and lost his heritage. Seeking revenge the young lord and his followers would take as their banner the former mentioned mythical creature to indicate that they would never be found while they prepared an armed rebellion.

Oddly the most reliable sources suggest a totally different origin. It is rumored that the first encounter of the initial members of the band happened to be in the dark woods in the north. Each one of them seeking for an old man who was said to be the only man alive who had seen a Wolpertinger. Whatever their motive to find this animal might have been is unknown, as well as the words of the old man. Legend has it that they found the old man and spoke to him and that soon afterwards they left, he died. For the period of a few months, nothing can be said about the people who left him. When they next were seen, they had taken on the Colours of the Wolpertinger and wandered on separate ways until the finally met up in the little village called Amashke. In the Year of the horny flying Rabbit many a brave man donned the colours of the Wolpertinger. All over the contry a stirring tale spread in taverns and fields, that a young hunter had seen pirates joining the ranks of the Wolpertingers. This led to heated debates among the common folk. There were those who claimed that the pirates where converted to the noble cause of the Wolpers and there were those who doubted that their cause was all that noble. The troup experienced a notable reinforcement when they encountered a group of fighters whose battle cry was Death or Glory. After a major battle both groups met on the smoking ground of the battlefield looking for ...ahh... recyclable goods. After sharing barrels of beer as well as old war stories, four more men joined the quest of the Wolpertinger.

Clouded as their history is, their is a report about an incident at a crossroad near a habby little town without a name. Growing in their numbers after months of traveling together as a band, the Wolpertingers rested near the town, when a mounted courier entered their camp to bring a call for help from the land's lord for an upcoming battle. Some fighters left the band to gain Death or Glory alongside the lord's small army in the unbalanced battle, but most of the group stayed to initiate two new warriors in the mysterious quest of their search.

Somewhen in the autumn fo the same year, the group was travelling in the North when they came through a small valley where a battle had just ended. A single figure was left standing, covered in blood. It was that time when another Named Man joined the band.

Though they get into contact to people quite often nowadays, still nobody outside their group knows about their real backgrounds or where they're headed. They only known facts is, that because of their banner and their constant movement in the lands of Calradia, they became known as The Roaming Wolpertingers.
There seems to be no special way to get into the group, as well as no special qualification. Their fighting style is various, their tactics seem muddled though they never leave a man behind.
Fighting as swords for hire or attacking caravans and merchants in times of need, they pick up merry companions of all nations on the battlefields.

If the text above should not be clear enough, here's a short summary:

For communication we are using a form of bad school english or short parts in german ("How do you say/write [...] in english?). If there is no possible way to clarify a point, wild sword-waving is used as some kind of sign language. Hopefully this will prevent future misunderstandings and keep the peace.

We generally use TS3, Steam-Chat, and on servers with very very, really very few people, we shamelessly use the ingame chat for private team purpose.

Our recruiting is done by xandhold and TucKMuncK since they are our most skilled people. But that doesn't mean that you can't ask Thuron or me as well, if you want to join (or the Prinz if you can catch a glimpse of him).
In general, everyone can ask to join and you don't have to be a god of war. We will more likely judge your personality than your skill.

There is a small error in "Flourish"'s title... Flour = Mehl. So it should be "Deflouration" (Entmehlung), not Defloration (Entjungferung).

ah, I think it had some kind of reversed hitpoint formula - Hit me ONCE and you're DEAD!
but the helmet was actually quite good. proofed to be a better weapon than that damn sword. throwing btw...

I wanted that this file was together with banerpack.
This file has a logo on a breast of a heraldic armour, instead of on a penis  :D I tested it on many logos of known clans, basically all are looked beautifully. After a new patch I it will update each time. To throw in folder Crpg with replacement of files. Council if will do a logo at first look as it it will be looked on a heraldic armour. Adjust the sizes to the given file. Here is how it looks on an example of logos of clans

An old man comes to campfire of the wolper band.

He started telling a story of a Wolper that disapeared few months ago...

After the last great Wolper victory banquet the drunken Wolper tried to reach home but he was supprised in a dark forest by a band of black knights.
They captured him and forced him to work in their silvermine.
After his head cleared up and realizing where he was he started a riot against the black knights, supported by the other slave workers.
They defeated the knights and nobody of them was left alive. He became a hero in a foreign land. The people offered the crown to him but he refused with the answer that a band of free and wild warriors in country far away named calradia surely where  missing him.
And so he turned around to search his way back to the land of his brothers to rejoin them.

A long jurney full of big and small advendtures and a lot of ladies...

He is back!

He throws away his clothes and under them appeared a coat of arms in the colours of the Roaming Wolpertingers...
