Over 1.4 million gold spent to equip both themed armies. Mongols (with 400+ horses available) versus the Templar Knights (with an equal amount of horses) at Ayyike to have a blast
Apply to the side you wish to fight for, but remember, since this is a Themed Strat Battle there will be strict guidelines and a LOT MORE tactical gameplay implemented to use including Siege-Walls, Cavalry Units, Firing Lines of Archers, and Group Pushes (no solo heroes). We need some people with great camera skills and great video editing skills to video tape this and use it as a promotional tool for Strategus and cRPG.
Teamspeak information will be provided to accepted players, anyone can join but you need to realize, since this is a Clan Sponsored event, clan members of either side may take presidence over your spot on the roster.
Mongols will be lead by KUTT
Templars will be lead by Templars (duh)
Some info for Mongol Applicants:
First off, Our armor and weaponry is about 90% Historically Accurate, so please don't bitch about it being offset of accuracy, because we are aware that it is.
We will be doing a lot of different units, and we have a HUGE amount of Cavalry spots available so please fill them.
Archers will have awesome gear including MW Horn Bows, MW Bodkins and Tatar Arrows, as well as Horses if you Want to Horse Archer.
Infantry will have a plethora of choices to use and a lot of fancy looking Khergit and Mongol armors to choose from as well as good weaponry.
Cavalry will have 5 different choices of Horses, accessibility to any armors of their choosing (may vary) and will NOT run out of Heavy Lances (literally no way).
Given that this is going to be a huge Cav battle, we've brought a shit-load of MW Long Spears and Pikes to make sure our Infantry stays focused on fighting other infantry.
WE WILL NOT BE CAPPING THEIR SPAWN FLAGS AS THIS IS A BATTLE FOR FUN AND NOT FOR VICTORY! MILK THE XP!!!!
