Title: The Plated Charger
Post by: Kirbies on August 20, 2012, 05:44:55 pm
Currently imo its useless right now, the leg damage nerf hurt 1h/2h cav more then lancers, and now the plated charger dosent have any leg armor either, its almost useless, in the charge because its so slow the MAMLUK does more damage then it! Its barely manuverable and can easily be sidestepped, and any decent player will know to aim at the legs, and can 2-3 shot it. My suggestion is to put back the armor on its legs, or remove the leg damage nerf to cav completely! And on top of that it costs a shit ton to buy and repair, it really needs a buff.

Discuss! (Btw my avatar is me IRL aint i sexy?)

Basically the only thing the plated charger had going for it was it's armor. With leg damage ignoring armor and because it is a massive horse with long legs, it's pretty much the most expensive sumpter horse in the game.

A new model for it would be great, with either a smaller frame or armored legs, otherwise an increase to speed, charge, and maneuverability should be warranted to justify the costs and the complete negation of its armor.

Never used it, but when i try to kill one it takes loads of hits, even if a attack the legs. Even multiple people have trouble killing it when staggered.

I'll let Xeen know about this thread so he can give his thoughts.

Would be worth it to know the opinion of someone who uses a plated charger on siege.

He does pretty well, considering the amount of skill it takes to use one, and the amount he has.

Daily insult aside, it doesn't need a buff.
