The new repair system is broken. I am a level 18 or something like that. I use a katana. For three rounds straight, I had to pay just around 1,000 gold each round for repairs. Not sure how this system works, but it seems to favor those players already at high levels. I enjoy the game immensely, win or lose, but now you have made it so I can't even get new equipment. 686 to repair a katana after one round is retarded. Most new players struggle as it is due to a lack of stats and equipment, now you are making it impossible for us to get the equipment to rival those who are already high level. No idea why this system was put into place, but it needs to change. I lost 2,000 gold in five rounds (and that was with having a x3 modifier for two of those rounds). And it seems like the more I use the weapon, the more I need to repair it, which is really unfair to lower levels because we have to hit an enemy more and block more incoming blows. Please take this out so I can go back to enjoying this mod.

Repairs are the same for high and low levels.
If you are low on cash and want new equipment, do what all of us had to do: play peasant and save up money.

Haha, you're a real joker, almost got me.

Indeed you got me, i got all my stuff for free from the chadsbow (its a colourless rainbow that distributes equipment to the high levels and trows repair costs at low level peasants)

Just use cheaper weapons untill you hit like 10 or 20k gold, longsword is pretty cheap and very good, or the shortened military scythe.

The formula for upkeep is the same for everyone. You start getting upkeep after you reach either level 25 (or some lower level, used to be 25, but might be lower now), or you have more than 10,000 gold in your account.
The formula should be: for every tick you get (experience and gold) you have a 4% chance of repairing every item you spawned with. If you get hit with the repair, it will be 7% of the total cost of the item. I believe that is the worse case scenario. I've noticed, and heard devs or admins say that you may have less of a chance of getting repairs if you have a higher multiplier, but I don't know exactly how it works. I've noticed when I have higher multipliers that it seems like I get repairs less, but that could just be speculation.
One thing I do know, but not the exact %, is that the higher your WPF in a weapon skill, you have a lower chance of repairing those types of weapons (so if you have higher 2hand WPF and carry a 2h weapon, you have less than 4% chance of repairing that item).
And you have to remember it's 4% chance, out of infinite. I'm not a math nerd, but that means you could technically be hit with repairs 100 times in a row, and although that's a 100% if you take it out of 100, out of infinite it could still be 4%.

Didnt you have a lower chance of repairing after a win?

yeah I think you're right, it might be a lower chance after a win, versus how high your multiplier is.
