Title: English bill or swiss halberd?

I made a 33-3 build polearmer and i want to use bill or halberd which one should i choose? Pierce or cut?

Bonus vs shield all the way
Before the turning nerf, Bill was better cos you could confuse people will crazy overhead turns and 1-hit most with 8PS. But now you're more of support, so take the shield breaker. it's also faster right?

With that much str you're better off with the halberd.

Swiss can make people in lighter armors into swiss cheese pretty quickly, plus you can still STAB and do pierce damage to armored folk.  More damage to majority of players, faster & cheaper.  SWISS wins
English is better anti-cav & teamsupport though, due to the extra range.

Problem with English bill simply is, that it only has pierce damage. Swiss Halberd at least has a cut overhead attack, so good to kill light-armored guys (and 37c is really good). Shield breaking as well, so it really has advantages.

Now there is no more polestagger the swiss is better imo (because of the bonus against shield).

But it's always fun to kill cavs who charge you when you're holding a overhead (they usually avoid you when you're ready to thrust). The bill is better to make this bait effective.
