Basically you could elect to put an item of yours into an armoury that is not just for your own clan, and put your own specific restrictions on it. You could say its only available for a specific weapon, time period, or player. Or you could rent it out for a weekly/daily cost, or just be mr nice guy and allow anyone to borrow it, or maybe only accounts that are flagged as "new" (less than a couple months old), so you help out the newbies.

This would work if:
- the item you lend is automatically returned at the agreed date/hour
- the item you lend has a cannotbetraded flag

Bad idea.

I like the idea of renting looms.

Would be cool long as there's no way to abuse it. E.g: I borrow someone's loom but am able to sell it or trade it to someone else.
But yeah I wouldn't mind this.

The current clan armoury has similar restrictions so its safe. The item stays in your literal possession but only the other player can use it in game while its in the armoury until you take it out. He can't sell it, just use it or return it. They could expand the armoury tools a bit so you both agree a time period for the item lending, with maybe a minimum time period you agree on before either can take their item back
