Title: Does anyone know if Steel Shield got any nerfs or buffs during last 3-4 months?

I got a steel shield and 6 shield skill at the moment.

Of course I know axes are capable of shattering shields, but I don't recall anything like 1-hitting steel shield with couch 0.o

Maybe it's just 6 shield skill and not 9.

ah it was a couch that killed your shield ya, couchs are still op they normally one shot shields

Enough force to break a steel shield, yet somehow weak enough to not dislocate the rider's shoulder and the wooden haft of the lance.

Ive shot 12 full quivers of mw bodkins and tatars  from a mw longbow into it. It survived ask miwiw.

But yeah, they really don't break unless it's a couch or repeated axe hits. That's why I love it :D

With 7 shield skill and a regular Steel Shield I was able to take 50+ projectiles before the first sign of damage (Veluca siege round 1 or 2). Seems damn good.

Probably the +3 Steel Shield he borrowed from me through the armoury. Sounds like that at least. :lol:

Nah, was just a +0 Steel Shield, picked it up on EU3. Was Jarlek's afaik. Had 6 Shield Skill.

Yes, probably more. Bodkins and Tatars.

Actually you all know there are many stages of shield hp, it took around 90-100 arrows to damage it to the first stage, then even more to the next stage. After that Arrowblood shot another hundred into it. It was far away from breaking after about 300 arrows. It also took a lot of time for that, we spent time before the Nordmen Siege on Saturday, were about 15 minutes. :D

I'm not sure, is it different on EU3 than on other servers? Maybe different on duel mode?

Guys, I made a Steel Shield guide a good while ago.

Go figure out I know it's great vs projectiles!
