Title: TugBOAT needs you! What should my build be?

I have just retired again from level 32 and I am honestly lost as to what build I want to be! Vote below! Most votes when I hit level 20 wins.

is better build. You have way more HP and combined with good AR you are going to have serious impact on battle.

Sorry for the acronym fail since I am not familiar with AR, but you do get a lot more HP. 59 hp compared to 71 hp with your build. In lighter armor, that's the difference between getting 2shot or surviving 2-3 hits sometimes.

Damage is not that different, though. Using http://alpha-lider19.ru/MB/, 32 cut on 45 armor and medium-light armor, 10.2-24.8 for 18/21 7WM and 10.3-25.8 with 21/18 3WM. I just find it great how fast you move with a medium length 1h. I know it's not optimal, but avoiding attacks is pretty fun. It is because it is such a frail build that I didn't really advocate him using it too much.

During my third gen I rolled a 30/9 swashbuckler. 10 IF/PS 3 ATH.

Might be a bad build to use over in EU land, but if you use light or light-medium armor (Mail Shirt, for example) you can keep up with people just fine.

It was really fun to grab a Warhammer and run into a large group of dudes defending the gatehouse on siege and just weave in-between them all spamming left-swing. Worked great, too.

It also turns the practice sword into a good dueling weapon. Even with 14 blunt you can do plenty of damage to not glance, especially because it's blunt, and it's crazy easy to spam it because it has 101 length and 103 speed.

One of the most fun gens I've ever had.

Armor Rating. Sorry for confusion.

It is possible to avoid attacks and then strike with 6 ATH while wearing heaviest medium armor (16 weight). Didn't feel much difference in speed and acceleration between 15/21 and 21/18 while wearing above mentioned armor.

In some cases extra damage matters. IF matters a lot and I think that swashbuckler, in order to survive ranged and melee clusterfucks, should have at least 60 AR.

Use Scottish Sword. It's so small it is barely visible. And do the agi magic! FOOTWORK!

Believe me, 1h animations + such a small weapon can really overwhelm people... It's hard to block something you barely see :)

Hoplite got buffed like crazy and is very viable. Otherwise go 24/15 1h no shield. On the fence myself if I should go hoplite.

Don't encourage people to become archers, we need less archers so we dedicated archers have infantry to shoot at!

Made one yesterday and cant stop laughing my ass off while getting a fuckload of points when 3 GLAs are raining down on my shield for a full minute. Its also GREAT just for staying in flag range as defender and making it pretty much untakeable =D

Try spending zero skill points and just transform them into strenght and agility. Would be fun to try out such a build. Go balanced, equal agi and equal str.
