Bumping because this seems like a relatively easy addition, while adding a whole new dimension for xbowers/ranged.
I would like to see a 1 slot shield that once you pull it out; cannot carry it like a regular shield, but is still able be picked up and put down at a forward location. Similar stats to the siege shield, but a little more durable.

It's very useless however. In native, the better crossbows could pierce the rhodok board shields except for the best one (and sometimes second best)... :P Two slot shield just makes it impossible to play like a Rhodok crossbowman...

Hmm, even when loomed?
It would be nice to make the 2 slot 1 slot but slower and more dureable, sounds good to me.

No, I talked about native. I have no idea about crpg shields at all. Can't imagine its possible here, but I got so many kills by a piercing shot with a siege crossbow in native, while shooting the bad board shields. ;)
