1. Doesnt stop TKs. People still sheath and attack.
2. If you dont do the "trick" every round ur liable to get attacked and BE UNABLE TO EVEN BLOCK now.
Just put it back and let people defend themselves with having to glitch the game. End of story.

U mad?

That means that any TK that happens now after the match is over is against the rules. If it agitates you, you are free to notify the admins or create a topic on the ban request forum. It is much better than the myriad of unintentional TKs that used to plague the servers. It will also screw up some people's score for those who really care about it.

What San said.

Actually its not San, even though it should be. Pretty terrible rules for something that supposed to be a team play game.

No intentional teamwounding/teamkilling during a round

"first rule of em all: common sense"

Do not come crying "it's not prohibited in the rules" if you invent a new creative way to be an idiot and get punished.

That's what I was told by admins on TS, and I trust their words.
Where common sense applies, I don't think many admins are really going to mind after round TKs except for excessive behavior. However, if it is a problem for you, it will be very easy for admins to deal with it. That's what I was trying to say. I think it would be a tad silly to enforce it harshly, since it can be amusing sometimes, but some people will be annoyed by it.

And when you have subjective rules thats when they're abused and poorly/haphazardly/unequally applied

Being an admin is work. If that doesn't appeal to you as an admin (I've been one in many diff games and do not do anymore myself) then instead of handicapping players and making them even more vulnerable to TKs, just let players defend themselves... Most people are not gonna take the time to screeny and post. Most would rather just keep play the game.
I've never liked being TKed. But I like even less this mechanism that makes you a patsy to get TKed at the end of the round unless you habitually glitch the game. This mechanism just makes it easier for the TKers.

Someone actually cares about this? Color me surprised.

I mean, they even disabled the teamwounding complaints for after the round damage and kills.
-
Its about control.
This mechanism takes away control in an effort to reign in TKs. It doesn't reign in TKs, just makes those likely to do them MORE able to succeed.
Not unlike ladders. They took them away to control abuse. While I would also like ladders back, at least with ladders it doesn't make it more likely for people to go outside the map. That removal actually prevents what it was intended to prevent.

+1
especially in rageball - its pretty annoying to have to sheath and draw after every goal

They made this change to stop the equip screen tk causing chambered attacks to release upon the end of the round, causing accidental tks. So it does prevent what it intends to prevent.

Whenever someone is desperate enough to sheath unsheath to get a handful more points just laugh at him because you are a better human being than he is.

You lose score points if you TK after you won the round. But I personally would just like to see no intentional team killing/team wounding be applied universally, no matter when it happens during the round (or after you win).
