Title: Uumdi's Video Reviews for Microphones charity program
Post by: Ufthak on August 08, 2012, 05:19:49 am: Posting this in the general discussion area to help spread awareness as I feel off-topic might not generate the attention it deserves.

Uumdi and Kreczor have recently started a program where Kreczor buys games for Uumdi to review, and in exchange for every completed review, Kreczor will buy a microphone for a person of Uumdi's choosing. I'm creating this thread so that people can plead their case as to why they deserve/need a microphone and potentially find more sponsors.

Uumdi will play and review anything you gift him, from DIRT to trainz simulator 2012. Even if you don't feel like buying the game yourself, feel free to make a request. PM Uumdi or Kreczor for details on donations, feel free to leave microphone applications here.

So more backstory: Uumdi doesn't racing games, nor review things. Krexzor in his infinite wisdom gifted uumdi 5 racing games, where if uumdi reviewed them he would get 5 people Microphones *or a video game. if they needed them.

Uumdi made a review and Winterly has a microphone in the mail to her place of living currently.

I initially started this program for my CHAOS bros since we have a few people who sound like they live in the ocean, don't have a mic or just sounded like I wanted to hit them in the face with a frying pan. I gifted Uumdi a 5-game racing pack I got for christmas from the random gifts thing, and promised him that if he manages to create video reviews of each game, I'd send out a new microphone to the people in our clan who most need in.

Then it dawned on Ufthak after the first episode was launched that it should be a community charity/giveaway event. Now see, I'm not made of money so if anyone is willing to send me a few bucks to support this charity, feel free to pm me and I'll set something up.

If you don't believe me, ask Winterly. Her microphone will be at her doorstep in two days.
