I play on NA, my ping is low, no spikes for me or most of the people I'm playing with.
Devs please double-check all this hit-detect stuff because in the last few patches, as compared against previous versions, a ridiculous number of bolts/throwing weapons have been going through enemies' models instead of registering hits. Maybe it's intentional, maybe it's accidental, but either way it's a fact.
Can I get an a-fuckin-men from the archers, shootists and throwbros? let it rain pierce damage

AMEN BROTHA. But seriously, I don't think it is just ranged. I've had entire swings/stabs go through people and my blocks don't even work half the time anymore.

AMEN. Has been brought up a few times. Only answer Ive seen so far from cmp, he said something like "Ill look into this". I dont know whether there is a dev playing a ranged class on regular basis to notice this. Maybe they think people bringing this up are just trolling. Or its hidden ranged nerf. Yes ... it has to be that.

On DTV hitboxes warp freely in between time and space, dont get me even started on DTV. Sadly, hitdetection on the other servers appears to get closer to be just as bad as on DTV, patch by patch. The other day I was doing some damage testing with dansin_HRE. 7 consecutive arrows passed through his head without connecting. When we both noticed it he then ran up to me and gave me an overhead to see if duel is not active or something. He oneshotted me with his 1h of course.

I found it pure luck hitting an ennemy jumping to kill you, now.
Three out of four times, i hear the sound of me releasing the arrow, wait half a second for the hit to registered, but instead get chopped in two.
Weird hitboxes when someone jumps ?

Was playing with my archer the first time after the patch yesterday.
Its a joke.
Hitdetection for arrows must have been accidently switched with the code for knockdown or something. On second though, knockdown triggers more often than arrows connect with hitboxes. Yesterday I was shooting straight through a heavy board shield into someones head from close range (shield hitboxes failed, player hitboxes didnt I guess).
We get get a checkbox in the equipment screen, a powerjump in rageball, QQV, dead body damage soak, a lvl 20 server, polestagger removed, a turnlimit nerf, ect (which are all nice things) but fixing a bug which is making the game more and more unplayable for ranged is not concidered important enough to be fixed ?

Yup ive had this same problem. Jarids going directly through people while i have 19 ping. Cant even play on my thrower anymore, too frustrating. Also i noticed throws that seemed to be complete misses somehow hitting targets as if the hitbox was off of the characters model that i was throwing at.

its revenge :D for the ammount of times ive been killed or headshot by arrows that dont even touch me :D
