Let's call it Speedy Gonzales update, shall we.

What's new?

We're all fast.

And there is new scoreboard with kills and deaths and POINTS. Proximity based of course.

chadz is mute btw.

Edit: Weight bug found by Osiris. chadz released the hotfix. Speed is back to normal values.

The scoreboard is really nice. The best thing that has happened to crpg in a long time.

You even get points for damaging horses now. This is really great.
Looking forward to kill some horses with my cav character :D

This will make it more worth targeting higher level players which will decrease the peasant hunting and perhaps also spawnraping.
It will decrease teamhitting and teamkilling as people won't be as greedy to get last hit.

All in all, it will increase teamplay.

Really good job dev team!

For exemple if I hit a big tin can with hammer I earn more point compare to killing naked peasant with great maul ?

Horses didn't get any speed buff it seems.
I like the game being faster.

The speed now is retarted its way too much,I have 5 ath and now I feel like having 10 .....

This isnt a good thing because alot fo players with 6-7-8 are now WAY TOO FAST and overspeed,Thier attack speed is now like x3 faster....

Hard to tell if this speed change is a bug (as some say) or intended to test how people react to it.
Devs have said they want to increase game speed so this might be the beginning.

My 11 athletics guy however seems to be just as "slow" as before.

I saw someone made a kill and got 1 point. I don't understand how it is calculated yet.

Scoreboard is great. Nice to see my real damage out put. 70 points but only 2 kills. I shoot lots of people but don't kill much  :P It's not a straightforward 1 kill = 10 points. One of my kill only accounted for 2 points. Though it was with a horse bump.

Speed is manageable for now even if it is a bug.

Scoreboard is probably the biggest change for gameplay in a long time once we fully understand how it works.

You should buff the speed of reloading of crossbows and horsespeed.

Since the infantry is a lot faster now but the reloading time of the crossbows didnt change, they can interrupt a lot easier now...

also the cav seems to be quiet nerfed imo.

Yes the weight disappeared, means AGI chars and light armour chars have no advantage in speed and STR chars got buffed a lot.

Nah, its definitely a bug. Combat speed itself isn't any faster...just movement speed so fullplate is zooming across the battlefield like peasants...or are you trolling and I'm missing it? :\

From some quick testing on EU_1(I am an NA player so this might be inaccurate as I didn't get much hitting in with my Cali ping), it seems as if you get points for the amount of hp damage you do. Don't know how many points per hp, but it seems to be linear-ish. You lose points by hurting yourself, for example fall damage, and the penalty is fairly severe. I lost 3 points for losing about half my health from a fall. I got 1 or 2 points per hit I did to someone. It also appears that you get points for damaging mounted horses. All of this is from maybe 20 mins of testing so don't hold me to any of that.

Its a bug. Its a Free mod so when a patch is made sometimes things go wrong. Calm yourselves down :P no need to come here shouting Its a joke etc. if its a joke go make your own damn mod with perfect issue free patches and changes

Yeah it's fixed. And I couldn't edit it sooner, because it wasn't fixed before the moment I edited OP. Thankfully Osiris found out that all items were 0 weight, otherwise chadz wouldn't fix it til tomorrow because he was searching for bug somewhere else.

My warband now has 600+ outgoing connections for the first 5minutes in duel. lol?

Is it normal that you can hit through the ground now? Walls and trees still stagger you, but not the floor.

But score system looks fine... finally I get some reward for killing all that cav horses  8-)
