Hey guys I just wanted to get a conversation going about supporting peoples claims and what not for S4.

I know very little about the new voting system other than it's happening and we get to vote :|

In lieu of real info... I thought we could all just talk about what we want and what we think is reasonable, also what clans are active or going to be active for the launch.

The Free Peasants of Fisdnar want... Fisdnar. We are going to draw a circle around it and if anything new pops up near by we want grab that too.

I was going to put up an active factions list but it all got a bit much.

I know the following clans are active;

FIDLGB
Hoplites
HoC
GK

There are more, I'm sorry for missing you but I have a small brain and it's full atm.

Between all land holding Factions atm if it was divided completely evenly we would all get 6 fiefs each.

If you do it by the 72 factions with 5+ members you get 2.5 each. So if it was done that way pretty much everyone would start with 3 fiefs.

I recon there will be 50 active factions at the start if we are REALLY lucky (I deduced that number by ramming my hand a really long way up my arse).

I figure it would be reasonable to entitle the big clans to 5 right out the gate and smaller factions to 2-3. I think the games going to be a lot more fun with a lot more active clans on the map right out the gate so I hope we can make it happen. I really want GK to come back and get a boat load of horses.

Well the Iron Guard would be happy with any thing. But honestly the Village of Rduna and it's castle will be what we seek.

Since I started half way through strat, so I'm not sure where we get placed at when it restarts, but I can't speak for FIDLGB, but it'll be interesting to see where most of us get tossed to, and in what directions everyone is going to rush.     :)

Well since it's all going to be vote based I just suppose it's about hashing it all out before the vote so you don't accidentally burn all your votes on a village a mush larger clan wants.

I'm hoping that the system is going to work like this:

You may vote once for a clan. So you can vote for every clan in the game once, and you get to place a vote for every fief.

That would allow people to work together to exchange votes and it would be bigger than alliances. Even old enemies could exchange votes to help each other get on the map at the start.

Damn good work Frank!!!    I like how you put it all together at the top.  Very nicely done!   Yeah, the voting system is sounding like it might create some very good alliances at the start.
