Title: Suggestion for new goldsink - Pay & play (crpg gold)

Pay & play (crpg gold) - not real money

- Battle mode
- Siege mode
- No banner balance (to avoid many players from same clan to join and just win every round)

- Each round costs 10.000 gold (those who don't have it get kicked).
- The team who wins get all gold shared evenly among all players (after a 5% tax which goes to... chadz).

This is just the basic idea.
It can be further developed into something really fun I think.

It might even improve the teamplay.

A problem is that this would probably make the richer players even richer as they are usually more experienced players.

But maybe that can be fixed somehow...

... or maybe that's how it should be. Only makes sense.

Ok.. and when I join the server with a new character and 100 gold, what do I do?

Get kicked forever and never get to play?

I read this as 10 coins at first which sounded swell but 10,000 seems like too much but even 10 coins sounds too little so if this were to become a reality I would imagine there would be a decrease in the Pot input dramatically.

Down to 500 coins seems fair and rewarding, but you have to remember what about new players, would there be a level cap? because if one team has half of it as New Players you can imagine how Unfair and a big slap to the face of those who are at a sub-par Level.

10,000 gold is a ridiculous amount to spend. 500 would be plenty. However, I don't think many will play this mode, considering the randomness of getting on a good team. The reason this works in games like CoD is because there are no teams.

It was an idea, but I doubt it would work, I'd rather have money being spent keeping the existing servers online rather than needing another 2 servers (1 for NA and 1 for EU). Before you say, what if we put this in existing servers, keep in mind that new players will be unable to play anything besides Rageball and Defend the Virgin. Not to mention that not a lot of people actually would want to play this.

People are already stressing out over duel rankings, which mean pretty much nothing. I'd hate to see how people play when there's a large quantity of gold on the line.

Voted no as it needs a lot of thoughts for such a system. It would give the game some competetive game mode but not if it depends on the team.

Maybe count the damage being caused and give the gold to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of dmg dealt. But even with that kill whoring would be rewarded as ppl with most kills usually also cause a lot of damage.

Not sure how this could work in any way.
