Title: Revolts in Strat
Post by: Rhekimos on August 02, 2012, 04:24:38 pm
Make it so that leaving your fiefs unattended is dangerous, and ignoring them will gradually increase the chance of civil unrest and a revolt, that the fief owner must defeat as a battle in order to keep his fief.

This civil unrest factor could be tied to simply having enough faction members present, but preferably more complex than that, with a lot of non-faction players in the fief increasing the chance.

This seems too easy to exploit.....

How is the revolt battle timeslot and server defined?

How would you exploit it? If you aren't playing attention to Strategus, you might lose your holdings. Just like now.
This would introduce another layer to keep in mind.

If there's a revolt, there should be advance notification for the defender and AI hiring for the attacking "revolutionaries".
Normal Strat servers should suffice, if it's not made into an everyday thing.
