Title: Not full serverlist
Post by: Spartacus on August 01, 2012, 03:25:50 pm
I already found this but it does not help and I do not find Ip flooding in my router settings
http://forum.meleegaming.com/crpg-technical-problems/server-list-troubleshooting/ (http://forum.meleegaming.com/crpg-technical-problems/server-list-troubleshooting/)
Does someone have other suggestions?

If you have hamachi or any other virtual network installed, disable/remove it.

Yeah, close warband, go to your network adapter settings and disable hamachi, other vpns that use a different IP range than 5.x.x.x should be fine.

Considering that you linked the thread where that was already said as a solution it could always be a routing problem you can do nothing about.

Which servers are missing?

It did not work but Thank you.

Which servers are missing?
EU_2, the melee one and EU_3
but sometimes if I am lucky I can find one of them again

Hmm that's weird since 1,2,3 and 5 run on the same machine, melee on a different one.

Hard to tell what the problem could be.
Maybe one of the server list filters is checked that hides empty servers or something?

Also what you can try is going to your network adapter settings again, press alt when the window is open, then go to Advanced ---> Advanced settings
and move the network card that you use for your internet connection (the one connected to the router) to the top of the list using the green arrows.

That will give it priority over anything else that might interfere.

One more thing you can try but make sure you do the backup part:

Go to X:/Users/YourUserName/AppData/Roaming/Mount&Blade Warband/

Rename profiles.dat to profiles.dat.bak or something like that.

Then launch the game.
All your chars will be gone in warband, recreate your main for testing purposes and check if the list shows up with all servers.
If not delete new profiles.dat and rename the old one back to that.

X would be your system drive, AppData might be a hidden folder so if you do not see it you will need to press Alt in the explorer/workspace thingy, go to Tools in the top bar, select folder options...
Go to the View tab of it and look for something like "hidden folders ---> show hidden files and folders".

Good luck!
