Seeing how the NA version doesn't really work anymore (Troyicide ftw), and how the EU station isn't up anymore, I'll resurrect it.

Thought I'll make my own topic, because I want to use polls, things like that.

I'll try to contact the DJ-s of the EU station, maybe they want to play again. However if not, I'm up for recruiting new people!  8-)

Anyway, I'm planning to broadcast tonight, in about.. 5 hours from now. Maybe a bit less or more.

No need to worry, the link of the station isn't out yet, because Listen2MyRadio.com "killed" it off, I'm about to recreate it.
You'll see the link when it's on.  :)

By the way, do you guys know a "better" service than http://www.listen2myradio.com/ (http://www.listen2myradio.com/)

It works very well but live talking and stuff like that is impossible. Not that I'd like to do it.. you might want to save your ears from my voice.

Whenver I read something about a cRPG radio, I keep hoping it's gonna be like a radio talk show. Imagine a panel of our finest cRPG'ers duking it out over important topics such Cavalry Opness, Up 2handers and so on.. Now that would be a real radio show!

Would love to do something like that.

However I need a service that allows people talking in a way like this, and :ihavenoidea: how to pull that off.

Unless you pre-record, but that's not as good. Dezilagel made interviews like this by the way.

You could just use a ts channel with everyone muted but the hosts, you can stream music using ts. Thats the only way I see a live radio show working.

I think pre-recorded interviews are the way to go, similar to podcasts etc.

I used to be a radio DJ in college if you need any NA DJs to lay down some PHAT TRACKS and some DOPE BEATS

May I ask what kind of music with be broadcasted?
I don't want to click on anything and have my ears ripped to pieces by that screamo bs or wubsteb.

Simple, an alternate user do the talking? Or .. how is it hosted? If its linked to TS3 or Vent then it would be easy to do.

Previously there was a variety of music depending on who was streaming at what point, that at times may include metal and dubstep.

First show would of course be an interview with chadz himself, or perhaps the italian stallion..

But in all seriousness, I think a weekly, monthly shoutcast/podcast would be really fun, I'd listen in for sure.

Pre-recorded interviews are basically a must, editing them will be necessary due to screw-ups.

Other stuff like a weekly recap of all drama and hot topics would probably work live if you prepare it a bit but would work prerecorded and edited as well.

I sure would prefer both of those over music :mrgreen:

More like a music station at the moment, but we have plans for interviews, we need to get Dezilagel back, he did some of these.

Uh, no.

The station was started somewhere in the middle of May, and I remember the last broadcast was in June 16.
I just had no time to do it on weekends at all, that's why it died. In summer I'm always somewhere outside IRL on fridays, lol.
