It would be really awesome if you could for example throw your weapon and in case it hits the enemy to pull it out of him and continue fighting.
I'm not talking about throwing weapons we have now but , for example, throw your danish greatsword and then pull it out of your dead enemy and continue the fight.

Even more projectiles.
Yay.

'nuff said.
Well, to be fair, it would be pretty badass if you do it, but do you really want to fear in every melee fight that the other guy just thinks, fuck this, either this throw kills him or I'm dead.

Im going to throw a great maul into your face. :D
Nice idea, BUT ...

Would be funny in certain situations, like a pure thrower throwing thier self defense danish into someones chest oneshotting them. If it is implemented due to how the game is coded every weapon with a throwing tag must start every round in throwing mode. 'I bought a sword and first round my dude lobbed it into a knights kneecap, didnt even stun him. Is this a throwing weapon?'

first of all you could to that only with spears, since they are not balanced, throw would be very short and inprecise
as for other other weapons, you cant possibly throw a sword so that it hits with its point, only way to throw a sword is to do it with brick style, that way you would just hit an enemy and do blunt damage, and range of that throw would be extremly short and non constant.

Lies, whenever someone throws a sword in a movie it goes blade first into the enemy!

Especially that lone wolf samurai, bushing a baby carriage around with a katana on a string.

If you want to throw your melee weapons like this then play Rune :)
Throwing your weapon is both impractical and ridiculously manly. While I approve in spirit I don't think it has a place in Warband.
