Title: (GUI) Vaegir Elite Armor

Heya everyone,

I don't know if this should go in bugs or suggestions, but it seems that the armor under the name 'khergit elite armor' is in fact 'vaegir elite armor'. If you play
warband native, you will see that the name is different. Just saying.It'd be good if you could change it back ( I plan to use it for an alt)

If you pay attention, you see that many armors / weps / horses has been renamed in c-rpg, and why would that "ruin" your experience? lol  :mrgreen:

I know, but I don't see the point in re-naming the particular armor. The reason why I would like it to be renamed correctly is because I wanted
to use that armor, have the vaegir war mask with it and so have the typical vaegir armor set. As long as it is considered a khergit armor, it doesnt
fit.It aint important, I know, but it's a small detail I'd like to see fixed :)

Actually NO.

Originally in Native.

This was the Vaegir One and this the Khergit. Then they switched it in Native but after cRPG was already made and cRPG never thought to change the name.

Actually, the first armor looks much better suited for horseback use than the second, if you look at the lower part. Also, the second armor has snow leopard heads as shoulder pads, the vaegir faction animal.

I only describe what I see. Also, the green armor looks more like a Mongol armor in my eyes, and we all know the Khergits are based on the great horde.

These are probably the reasons why they switched it in Warband.

looks perfecly like Vaegir armor (color, style etc), and other one is Khergit.

Both are ugly though.

Yes and a Zulu armor is also Vaegir because it has an etching of a leopard.

I don't know what Zulu armor looks like, but if there was a third armor that could not easily be assigned to a faction, and it had horses or wolves on it, I would assign it to the Khergits.

No. Neither does the green one. That's the reason why there is a discussion at all.

there are some refferences of armor similar to the first one (vaegir elite as it is called in crpg), but i havent came across anything similar to the 2nd

It looks a bit like a mix of oriental and chinese armor technology. The green one is basically mail with some lamellar parts and a brigandine over the chest. The only reason why the change in Warband was opposed is the color. Vaegir's faction color is green.

You will see the same lion head on them. To me, that seems like a proof that it is a vaegir armor.
