cRPG lost partnership with Google ads because some bright ass posted NSFW material. The money from the ads helped a big part for paying server costs. This could potentially lead to less servers.

Google monitors almost everything on the internet. If you have Facebook for example, they will know everything you let them know. Age, gender, interests, opinions about brands etc. Anything for a need-to-know basis for target groups which they then sell for millions to big global companies who want insider info for their products.

This, really. Facebook even flat out tells you that they will sell your information, so considering it is a non-critical site for living and you can easily live your life without ever using it, I don't see the big deal about "invasion of privacy" considering they are openly admitting that if you use their optional service then they will sell your info.

Granted, search engines taking your info from other places is a different story, but the internet is public and there are ways to disable being tracked if you put the effort in and be selective in what you allow to interact and plant cookies.

If you that and limit your private things to friends, then they cant see it. But Facebook probably sells your information anyway. There has to be another way for them to make money, except for advertisments. :P

I don't have and never will have a facebook account. Reason: my friends know me and my telephone /mobile phone number. Don't need a bad chat system to talk to them. :)

I like to see pictures from my friend's lives(the ones I actually give a fuck about, aka 20% of my friends list), gives you a nice insight for the times you are not there. Also lets you keep contact, this is especially useful if you're lazy.

To be fair, if there were still real world religious groups using the word "crusade" unironically in a military sense I'm pretty sure google wouldn't want anything to do with them as well. I remember this political forum having the same issues with it's adds because some Westborough church retards kept spamming god hates my old friends and linking to disturbing/nsfw images.
Plus it's hard to get irony and sarcasm on a written medium. There were tons of links to "jihadist" type videos and images on that thread. It'd be like, say, a Teutonic thread being full of links to white supremacist material and militant bible verses. What may seem only like trolling and jokes will look otherwise when taken out of context. Then there's the straight up insane idiots like rabbitstyla and Safavid who might as well be racial/religious supremacists.

They probably just have a list of url adresses that are verbotten and just having them linked on a website is enough to bring down the hammer. Pretty hard to find something legitimately wrong with the bashi thread if you actually read some of it, so I doubt they did. Most of it seemed like typical silly internet forum stuff.

There's these crazy software that monitors website traffic for clients. I'm assuming it would be very easy to use that same technology to scan a website, anything comes back as "offensive" would probably need to be manually reviewed. 

Is there any way to get back into google ads?  Or maybe I'm assuming that's why we're on a different domain now?
