How is xp gained in strat battles?

Is it a tick, like the normal game, or something else?

I only know that it depends on amount of units, equipment and kills.

Usually I get around 300-400k per hour with medium gear. Often more, double with a bigger fight and siege. In towns probably more.

In one siege I easily went above 1million xp in less than an hour.

I however don't exactly know if you can check how much xp you gain by maths or whatever. It probably always depends on the situation.

It is a tick, but it is not as frequent as in battle/seige. It comes every couple minutes and depends on the things that miwiw said.

XP works like this:
Every 2 minutes you get EXACTLY 6k xp just for BEING in the battle. In addition to this 6k, you get a bonus based on the gear that the enemy has that you kill within that 2 minute interval.

So if fighting 100 vs 100 and it takes 20 minutes at mid gear you will get 60k xp for being there and another 40k for the enemies gear for 100k total.
