Rage complete. But seriously, that is so horse shit. I'm sure my tiny clan isn't the only one that gives new members gold and helps people buy items, it's just too fucking much Jesus H Christ. Even the Carbon Tax doesn't go this far. chadz big government can get out of my wallet! OUT YOU DAMN COMMIE OUT!

If it wouldn't be between clan mates also you could simply accept the person you are trading with to your clan and give him the money and pay no tax.

@Tuibela, totally correct but can't there be some other way that doesn't involve me getting screwed when I'm not using it for "black market" bullshit.
It's just so... so :( Basically you transfer the money and pay 5% and then buy something which incurs another 5% so you wind up paying out more than the 5% tax. On the totality of that transaction.
Now you might be thinking "why not buy it and send the item...?" which is a valid point until you come up against 2 guys with 600k each chipping in to buy an item for the clan. Now one of those 600k blocks is going to have 5% knocked out of it... It's totally fucking balls.

Perhaps the solution is to put a cool down timer on joining and leaving clan and restricting alts from being clans there main isn't in. Say 48 hours.
So you leave a clan and can't join another one for 48 hours and then when you leave that one you can't join your clan again for another 48 hours. That's a pain in the arse mostly people won't go through that would stop people using the bank to pay for items and then sell them sans the fee and would then allow people using the clan bank in the spirit of communism to keep being dirty reds.
GIVE ME MY GOLD BACK YOU DAMNED DIRTY APES!

A delay is probably the best solution. I think a week of quarantine time before removing the tax for that clan would be in order.
So:
1) Someone joins a clan, still has tax.
2) One week passes, the tax is removed for that clan.
This would prevent any high frequency traders from jumping in and out of clans, just to dodge the tax.
Although, you can use the clan bank to transfer money without tax even now.

At first I thought a cooldown for joining a new clan would be a good idea but just giving a cooldown on the tax sounds like the better solution.
