The awning on the castle wall near the river is a very vulnerable spot for ladders. Any ladders placed up there give the attackers both a quick drop down to the flag (-some health) and a great sniping position. I haven't played the map yet, so this is just what I can see looking at the screenshots.i thougt so too, but actually the defenders seem to be in advantage atm.

Why is the map 1MB large? Because of the texture pack? It took forever to download...
Hey jacko, since you might have been afk on IRC for a long time I'll post here my feedback on one of the maps in Siege rotation.
It's actually not a C map, it's most specifically the Forest Assault map, which is very unbalanced now without ladders. It's very easy for defense to keep the only 2 entrances very well blocked and guarded all the time.
Perhaps an extra ladder on the left wall would be a good addition (with some additional small tweaks to safeguard defense).
Tell me what you think about it, I'll pm Cohen regarding it since he's the map creator.
4? Are you talking about the same map?
There's a ladder in front easy to block several proceeding doors, and a backdoor where the second door only 1 person at the time can hit.
Not to mention that all the defense entry points are close to the flag due to the map being relatively small.
