Hello viewers!

This is a thread made by me purely out of curiosity, Who the community thinks are good players and why!

who do you think is one of the more gifted skilled infantry player?

Reason you look up/admire this player: an excellent fighter, I have once bested him in 1v1, in a battle map, but he missed 3 kicks and 2 chambers, an excellent kicker, he always implements kicking in his fights, rediculous! Doesn't wait around behind friends for a lolstab kill steal but engages the enemy like a man!


Excuse me for my english, it's not flawless!

I know people in this community might find it hard to give others a good ol' pat on the shoulders and tell them they're doing good but let me start this!

Reason you look up/admire this player: Master clutcher, good team player, good stabber/blocker, good sense of the battle. Plus can play any class and do well.

Loads of good regs on EU1 though, can't mention them all.

Reason: Top-scoring with every class he plays, no matter if its Horsearcher,shielder or whatsoever, I don't know a better duelist/battle player than him. Also he finally accepted that reaching high level is better than retirement  :mrgreen:

Reason you look up/admire this player: In my opinion the top 3 players in the game, judged by battle skill mostly.

Reason you look up/admire this player: I love duelling this guy, he does not do random spam or kicks, he plays by the rules, yet the duels are intense and awesome. Never pisses me off, duelling this guy, its always fun and I can always smile after one even if I lose. Very close to the aforementioned top 3.

Reason: He kicked my ass so many times when I first met him while he was back in OoTL. He was the reason I joined and while he raged, he was a great player and still kicks my ass today.

There's a lot of players that can be said here though. Tristan, Hobb, Syls, Tank if he still played, Gore for sure, Spaniard.. and I know I'm blanking on other people as well. Lot of people in Astralis.. there's a lot of good inf around.

Reason you look up/admire this player: I don't really look up to him, actually think he is a big douchecow. But watching him as I was dead taught me how to fight. Nothing special about him being the one i chose, just a coincidence. Still have to give a little thanks that I learned from someone tho, even if it was someone who couches afk'ers all the whine whining about how strong and OP throwing is.

I miss the good old loner heroes (some clan heroes as well) who were great players and not these newmy old friend ''heroes'' in big clans who everyone nowadays seem to praise.

Reason you look up/admire this player: Is to my knowledge one of the few top two handers that isn't afraid of leading a charge. While most will hang back and go for the opportunity kills, Gosling will willingly throw himself into a mob and come out on top. Rare enough that it commands respect.

Being Gen twenty-something, his understanding of pretty much every possible game-related mechanic is an incredible resource for anyone less knowledgeable. A superb duelist, a patient teacher and his ridiculously low ping endeared him to me all the while I was in Red Lotus - and forever since.

My all time favourite player whom I always looked up to is something that is very difficult to decide. Not because there are many, but because of my mentality - to always try to overcome the opposition - I have never really thought of who I look up to. I have many peers whom I appreciate, but they would be too many to list. So after some hard thinking, the two people who I feel are a little more deserving of my regard than the rest:

Username: TommyYyY/Gurnisson
Class: Mostly cav, but does almost as well with any other class/Once upon a time, mainly xbow but nowadays as underappreciated low-profile support classes like pike
Reason you look up/admire this player: The main reasons I chose to admire TommyYyY and Gurni is because both of these guys never said anything rude or negative to anyone. They played the game because they enjoyed it and not because of ego(such as myself(not saying I don't enjoy playing, but let's just say I have other ambitions :wink:)), yet remaining as my top enemies when on opposite team. Plus they always put up with my sometimes schizophrenic trolling pattern. :lol:

There are many types of players, not separated by skill necessarily but the driving element of what makes them advance in that skill. Two of these are the Ambitious players, who have megalomaniac tendencies which often lead to inflated egos and then there are the Friendly players that focus more on being good sports all the while keeping a healthy interest on improving their abilities. Ambitious players tend to get along with Friendly players because sadly, Friendly players don't go out of their way to damage the opposition's prestige(in a friendly manner or otherwise). "Sadly" because I want Gurni to step up his game instead of GTXting when I intentionally target him. :(

Anyway, both TommyYyY and Gurni fall under Friendly category. But I also like these guys as people too, not only as players. TS is fun when they are on :).

Reason you look up/admire this player: Easily the best Horse Archer I've seen. I've tried HA and it's pretty hard. Jackie rarely misses shots and the reason he is so good at HA is because he is really risky, instead of keeping his distance trying to snipe players he charges at them with his Cataphract Horse and shoots them just before he bumps, that is ballsy because if he misses he is fucked. I remember seeing Jackie the last player against around 12 before and winning. Annoying as it is to say because HAs are fucking my old friends.. He is awesome at it.

Reason you look up/admire this player: Awesome dueler and friendly fella. Fights are always interesting and intense including kicks, chambers and all the other tricks. I remember one battle where he was charging in front of enemy group and they all surrounded me and just punched shit out of me :lol:. It was hilarious!

There are also many more players that I admire and whom I have had fun fighting with.
