- Fully integrate strategus into website (after battles, show up if you click "join strategus as hero" button on the battle page)
- Create new map that have: villages, castles, cities, roads, mines, different categories of terrain suitable for cattle or fishing or ogriculture, caves, forests, bridges
- Allow people to raze buildings and fiefs and create new ones including also hideouts or temporary encampment or hut villages
- Allow people to settle in fiefs via renting or owning a property (buying or building one)
- On open fields, allow defenders to set the battlefield and entrench it a bit
- Make wooden construction burn to prevent roof camping
- Let people choose their spawnpoints!
- On all battlefields put camp for both attackers and defenders, and make people spawn in the camp
- Victory condition should be not killing all the enemies, but holding the battlefield
- Change retreat function so armies can flee from battlefield in decent order leaving just some equipment left in camp if they can retreat with the cart intact
- Make cities and city castle different entities, so enemy can take the city but he have to take castle next (or starve people inside if they don't have enough goods
- In the city make different building that serve their purpose, like wells and other important buildings
- Allow people to have set amount of alts on strat that work as blacksmiths, butchers, farmers, shepherds, and main who act as warrior. Those people can produce different goods and stuff

already being worked on for months, is gonna happen, some of it this strat hopefully, new map is coming after this strat version (don't expect it soon though).

like this one alot, should also be codable with some workarounds, lets hope devs like it too :P

A lot. Especially if we add non-combat skills and different spotting distance based upon how big the unit is (and by unit i mean one or more named characters,troops and named or unnamed civilians, horses, carts, crates, mules, equus africanus asinuss)(ie, caravans that actually behave like caravans).

You mean, mines, silviculture and agriculture are planned ? Great to hear!
like this one alot, should also be codable with some workarounds.
Would be fun starving them to death or force capitulation.

no i mean as in building defensive obstacles in fiefs (walls, towers etc.), the rest i dont think so.
i haven't read it clearly :P

I've got another. Make catapults kill everything. I was a sad panda when I was blasting away at a nord village the other day to no effect.

i agree, i think catas should have a bigger area effect, making them a bigger pain against troops too :twisted:
would add some more spice too strat battles.

Well, sounds not bad, but then, there has to be added fire damage because otherwise it would be simply stupid. (Buildings getting harmed by fire, but people are immune? )
Perhaps enabling catapults to shoot fire projectiles under the danger that the buildings are damaged when you take the city.
But as already said, this will most likely never get implented because it´s too much work.
As you see, two developers who are working on current strategus are operating at full capacity, sadly no developer left for major changes on it :(
But nevertheless: Good ideas, Lech :)

I think catapults will be used more to kill people then anything else CATA SPAM INCOMING

they have no area effect as catapults have.
would be interesting to see them introduced also, but its just not the same.

Catapult AoE is fine, I've killed multiple people who wasn't aware I was aiming for them on EU_3 while they were dueling before.
