I'm assuming they'll implement some sort of persistent leveling this time around and cRPG will be obsolete. I can't imagine them overlooking this mod.
It's unlikely that there will be a cRPG for Mount&Blade 2. The plan was to have it for War of the Roses 2 or 3, but lately we've been considering the idea of porting to Age of Chivalry 4.

and anyway seems like the "donkeey crew" are working on their own sequel to cRPG, project asinus. unless it really is a fucking space game... best not to even consider that.

Your link's broken, so I can't be properly insulted.Switched image link. Works now?
Although M&B2 might make cRPG obsolete in terms of features there might be a place for cRPG if they actively balance and improve on the base game. The main devs might not be in a position to balance and keep on top of any meta games that develop. I think they mainly look at m&b gameplay from a realism position too rather than how the gameplay generally feels. I hardly played native but I hear about how OP ranged is, and yet to me the main appeal of this game is the melee mechanics. I also wonder how bad the melee gameplay might be in the sequel..they might have been mostly lucky with the first game. It was more about single player too right?
BUT if the devs for the base M&B2 actively counter cheating and the melee is decent and kept balanced there might not be room for cRPG. Just depends on some factors
Its likely crpg team is already working with taleworlds to implement it in their next game as a part of the main game. You know, its how the industry works in this cases. You arent going to work a thing its already done when you can just hire these guys and get it "cheaper". I apreciate they have made this mod for free and all guys. But you should be realistic, this is not just for the sake of making us a "free" game. All these guys doing crpg (specially the main guys) are expanding horizons. Probably will even use crpg stuff for their courses etc etc. And im sure some of them are already hired or at least contacted by taleworlds for their next game. Would be stupid if they didnt (taleworlds). At least is what experience and common sense tells me. If you have talent in front of you and a develop of 2 years already done.. why would you go and find it somewhere else?. Just my apreciation. Be sure mount and blade 2 will have some kind of persistant multiplayer character in its second release (if not they would be just uterly retarded (taleworlds).
Would it be possible to implement crpg for bf3?This.
That is some naive thinking my friendI dont see how is naive, Ive seen it many many times in all these years. You saw it with Counter strike, you saw it with Bf2.. (yes, half of the guys working for bf2 were those who created "desert combat" mod for bf1). You see it with day of defeat. Hell, you can even see it in Mount and blade, with that napoleon "game". Happens everyday, everywhere, companies are looking for talent... i think you are naive one here.
