Lord blah bla, owner of blah blah, has entered the battle... or whatever.

The thing is, medieval lords were rarely owners of fiefs in today's sense. They were holding them for their liege, manage them and were obliged to provide him with troops in return.

Besides, owner sounds way too capitalist.

Therefore, I suggest that this be changed into Lord blah bla, protector of blah blah, has entered the battle.

And btw, FREE PANOS!

The protector thing sounds better seeing how it they are not really owning it but protecting it.

If we go by Mount and Blade, the Lords are owning the fiefs though. Of course none of them lives in a village, as the villages are bound to the castles in Warband. If you take over a castle, you also get the next village(s) though.

Therefore protector would indeed better fit.
