Ok, I did a test with PlayClaw (one of the two, other one will be uploaded later) and used the 1080p h264/ mp4 settings as recommended by Thomek and Nessaj.
Captured at 60fps, fullscreen and no sound with PlayClaw.
Edited using Sony Vegas pro 10.
Rendered at 1080p, h264 extension, 30fps and at 10mbps with HandBrake (http://handbrake.fr/).

PlawClaw performs really well, now I can record at fullscreen at 60fps and play really well with little lag! Before when I was using Fraps, it was more laggy and recording at fullscreen was unplayable. What you guys think about the quality?
[UPDATE]
PlayClaw Test video 1 here! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTz5MgBXrlQ)
Captured at 60fps, fullscreen and no sound with PlayClaw.
Edited using Sony Vegas pro 12.
Rendered at 1600x900, .mp4 extension, Audio: 256,000kbps, 48,000Hz, 60fps and at 20mbps with MainConcept AVC/AAC.
Rendering at the same resolution of your game works well.
Whole point of this thread is to get some feedback on the quality, perhaps this information will help some who are clueless/ starting out or those who are looking to get the best out of their videos on youtube.

lol, classic Stimpy action right there.
May I know what music you've used?
Especially the one with flute part. 8-)

Looks good, seems like there's a bit loss in quality for the rendering though, try 15/20mbps next time to see if it becomes super crisp quality. (Lowlypawn's Render Settings Tutorial Using Sony Vegas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jADhisvtjo0)).

ok so I tried watching both yours and mine side by side, yours has fancy editing and is a better video, no question. but quality wise they look the same at 720p to me, and bandicam renders as you play so you can upload straight away. you should try it.
I might try playclaw/stuff you used. although vegas I find annoying to use, anyone know any good video editing software thats simple yet effective, cause windows movie maker seems abit borked.

Yeah works great I got it a couple weeks back after someone posted it. Worth the money, it's a great monitoring tool as well.
Being able to split up the audio is awesome.

also burrick = stimpy?

Thanks, I guess 10mbps wasn't enough, I'll definately check out 15mbps, 20mbps might look over the top heh :).

Yes.

Thanks, your video at 720p looks very crisp, something which I really want! If you want an alternative to Sony Vegas, use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe After Effects CS6. Most people use Vegas and the Adobe products for editing their gaming videos. For a simple video editor try out Avidemux (http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/index.html), however, I wouldn't really settle for a simplistic video editing program if you want really high quality and good looking videos.

Good video!, want to see Burrick in action for next one :D

You should make more videos Burrick , i saw this one 2 weeks ago

Np, thank Clifford Gilberto/ Florian Schmitt for crafting sweet jazzy tunes, you may like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HVrb9KOzNQ if you enjoyed that track in my video.
I do have another project (numero uno of PlayClaw tests :o) on its way, I'll render it with higher bitrate.

that face makes me laugh every time

I miss Burrick & Pullinger. :(
-
*sniffle* i miss you guys to, i feel like popping back into this and knocking that rust off my spear & shield :D thats good quality for a video imo burrick.

Nice BoomBoomBurrick.
(POOOOOW I GOT YA)
I recommended Playclaw. Seems that it works fine. Good because Crpg seems underrepresented on ytube.
I found out how to record with fraps, 1080 p. Whoopsie. My machine can handle it.
Compressed footage is better for your disk space though. A lot xD.
Vegas is an awesome tool, once you know how to use it. If you dont, you hate it.
Keep in mind. Regardless of how awesome the quality is on your hdd.
Youtube will always fuck it up.

errr... vimeo as an alt to youtube maybe?
