Title: Add more hoods into crpg : White,black and red hood

Add them into crpg and give them the same stats as the other hoods, shouldn't be a lot of work.

would be cool for the ninja clan ;)

what I think this game REALLY needs is a system to customise colour of armours instead of adding in several of the same models in different colours. so all armours would have dyable parts, and one hood model could be 10 different colours.

I'm no coder but go make it happen cmp/chadz

Could be done, in theory. But it would require a major reworking of every item of clothing (armour) in the entire game. Huge amount of work. It would, in my opinion, be worth it though.

Realistically, if works starts, don't expect it implemented until at least 2014.

There's already a system in place for heraldry (banner/banner background) so, by reworking this it should, in theory, be possible to make a system for selecting dyes. It would, of course, require work from the devs, as well as someone spending a few dozen hours in photoshop reworking textures.

But I don't see any reason it COULDN'T be done. Unless the heraldry system is too ingrained in the game to be reworked easily.

There's a reason for White Hood not being implemented btw. Since it would summon 2 new problems.

1. Servers would be crowded with White Lamellar Armor and White Hood going wannabe Altair with Long Dagger and smoke bombs and throwing daggers.

2. People would create KKK clans and go ''epic KKK clan gatherings'' mode.

I gave the first hood pack to chadz about 2 years ago, and there were 5-6 colors of hoods in it. Thats where we got the black hood from.

It took me some time to figure out why the others didn't but I think it was because the colors were too strong. I think Njunja made the models.. could always ask him or someone else to rework or model the hoods with a less striking palette.

It's worth a try, but I think they are already thinking about limiting the amount of models for performance reasons.. I think, but im not sure about that either. Worth a shot though. If anyone feels like reworking the hoods I think they could try Njunja, either here or taleworlds forums. If he lost the files I should have them somewhere in my mail.

true it would take a ton of work, but surely not nearly as much as final_boss's hierloom pack :O
