Title: Siege of Curaw
Post by: Kryser on July 14, 2012, 07:56:58 am
After the 3rd and final assault by Kutt and its mercenary's. Kutt Destroyed the ugly peasants occupying the town. After the Peasants lost the town and walls, they tried a futile attempt to hold one last wall turret. In their desperation to survive the siege, they jumped from the tower as it was being destroyed by the Kutt Catapult.(Commanded By Theseus) The retarded peasants had no choice but to lay into the waves of spears waiting at the bottom of the destroyed walls.
Poor bastards.

Kutt ATT 3079               Curaw-Peasants DEF 2496
Kutt 1415 Survivors        Curaw-Peasants 0000 Survivors

There were steel picks and warhammers, all I needed.

Couldn't get past Rhaelys again, too good.

I did so bad during this siege. Must have gotten at least 6 teamkills.

On a slightly more positive note, my performance rating went up to 9 <3

If only we had had more pikes. Once we ran out I had to make do with... lesser weapons.

Those katanas were absolutely wonderful for fighting on those narrow walls; a real godsend.

Glad someone screenshotted that near the end. All those ragdoll corpses in sarranid leather looked like a a giant glob of chili and cheese flowing down the broken wall.

A real sight. Bards and chefs will speak of this day!

I was doing pretty mediocre until we got that ladder going across to where they were at. Then I ran a them with a katana jumped down and spammed my way to victory

Yea the ladders were treacherous, the smart defenders took out the good ones quickly. Also we had to destroy some of the shitty ladders once we hit the ladder cap.

Haha I am looking to trade it but it's not a peasant loom but a weapon of destruction, oh yeah BUFF TORCH!!

That's the one thing I want to happen in strat is for me to lead an army into battle and have them look like a bunch of Spaniard clones bahaha

You wasted 3 looms...I only have 3 fully loomed items...you had way too much time on your hands.

Or he has owned the game longer than you?

Warband, no, c-rpg yes.

Still no excuse for wasting 3 looms, that's 1.5 million gold you could have.  Or a +3 of an item that you might actually get some use out of.

Maybe he doesnt want gold, maybe he wants to have fun.

Exactly this. Why else would I have loomed a Sumpter horse as my first mw item? BETSY!

How is using terrible equipment, "fun"?

At least the sumpter is a cheap horse, there's literally no point to the torch unless they started making it get pitch black at night.  Or unless you could start wooden structures on fire (which would be awesome for strat).

I don't play this game for the pixel crack, or for the gold (I lose money on my horse), I play for fun as well. Being competitive is just part of the "fun" equation.

Or maybe he plays the game for fun, retires to check out new builds for fun, and just ends up with extra looms that way?

I got a +1 torch myself. Loomed it because I didn't really need anything and I wanted to try other classes.

It makes it harder to kill other players, thus making the game more challenging so when he finally gets a torch kill, he can feel satisfied.
