Title: The wonderful logic of CRPG devs...
Post by: Savior_of_Death on July 13, 2012, 11:03:55 pm
Instead of fixing the many many many problems that plague CRPG, they decide to put their efforts towards adding in a cheer at the end of rounds and an extra toggle needed to spawn. What in the holy mother of fuck seems logical about this?

Remind me, what are these problems again?

I personally like the cheering (which fixed accidental TWing at round end so by your logic should be an actual fix).

The cheering was not because the devs felt like it could be cool. They actually did it to fix a real issue.

Can't u remember the equipment screen? When u just had a big fight at flag, and finally managed to defend/capture. The equipment screen would pop up and release ur swing/block, which caused alot of teamkills.

Edit: FU tears.... a few secs ahead of me!  :(

So rather than add a 1 keyframe animation to stop all animations, they decide to add in a celebration that's totally ridiculous when you're on the losing team and especially bad in rageball since it happens every time someone scores?

Fuck that.

Ungrateful asshole, they do this for free, remember? And the toggle was probably something to fix earlier when several people spawned naked because they forgot to equip stuff, and the cheer is to cancel teamwounds after a round.

And i personally love the cheering animation, even if enemies do it aswell.

ITT: OP doesn't know anything about developing and assumes it takes the same time/effort to fix bug X, add feature Y or implement the cheer animation.
