Hi, I'm a new CRPG player and I figured this might be the place to introduce myself. I've been a M&B player for more than six years, way back in .3 something. I didn't get on Warband when it first came out, but a few days ago I saw a friend of mine playing CRPG and decided to take the plunge. Managed to get to level 21 in two days due to a load of freetime being dumped on me. I'm not good. Some of you might recognize me as the chap who flounders around with throwing weapons, that guy who's bad with a mace or that guy who does rock duels in the Duel server. Probably half the people who recognize me probably would only recognize the back half of me, as that's where I usually get lanced.
Anyways, this game's fun and once I "retire" Cheomesh I plan to do a more solid build. At the rate I'm going it shouldn't be long, unless it suddenly gets crazy hard. I may simply respec, as it's only costing "half" my XP (which according to the site puts me down to only level 17). I'll have to check but I think that also takes my items away.
Look forward to playing with you guys!
I just don't understand this, I am pretty sure that when Asians have any trouble with pronouncing anything in english, its the r and they replace the r with an l, not the other way around.(click to show/hide)

Welcome to the community Cheomesh !
Try not to rage when P anos trolls you
If you fix it fix it well at least - you left a P out :P

No, it's the other way around, at least in Japanese.Perhaps its Chinese then that does it the other way. The stereotypical asian accent in my country atleast always replaces r's with l's.
They have no "L" sound, so they replace it with an R.
Welcome!
My PRO tip for you: use the '~' key early and often

Hello and welcome to the cRPG Cheomesh, I hope you like it so far.
Also I will pay you 50k if you will play as an archer in your next generation. We need more troops to hold the evil melee and cavalry villains at bay.

Better yet - bind it to something practical, like mouse 3! (I've burned through two mouses already thanks to this, so maybe don't listen to me)
I use left shift for mine.
View outfit key is a really great way to avoid getting lanced in the back.
Look again.....you have to put a space otherwise P anos turns into beer
Best of luck, you certainly have the right mentality to survive! Remember that you can create "alts" and then even use the "skip the fun" feature on them to test out a weird build (just don't use STF on your min  )What's a min? :P
Have fun!

Stay away from my renown! I tell ya! Stay away!

Main, just to make that clear

Away for a few weeks and forgotten everything already :D
If you are gen 1 under lvl 25 I believe there is no upkeep. Its to encourage new players to get the hang of the game before the harsh reality of repairing your armor and weapons kicks in :)Or put another way:

Your parents are kicking you out of the basement, and GET A DAMN JOB!
Ah yes the respec did it. No biggie; it'll teach me before I end up using a tonne of gold up on nice stuff. I know it applies too if you have scavanged stuff and failed to drop it before the round's over, but what if you die with something scavenged?Scavenged weapons never gave you upkeep. You never got repairs for anything you picked up during a round, only when/if you spawned with it the next round. Although there was a bug with that, so if you didn't have the item yourself, you didn't actually lose any money, even though you got a repair message for it. This is why they made it so you don't spawn with weapons you picked up so this will never happen.
