Hey guys, I just made a banner for a new little clan I'm making, and I wanted to use it on the ladder page instead of using one of the stupid Native ones. All I read on custom banners was you had to auction or somethin, and I guess Im not really understanding it. So really my question is:
How the heck do I use my banner as my clans ingame? I dont want to have to pay ingame gold to do all that.
I can post a picture of it if that would help anything.
Thanks, and cheers.

You have to buy a banner off of auction.
-
Lets see, you start out by buying a custom banner slot from the auctions (They usually run for about 20-40k in-game gold). And you then go to your clan ladder page and upload a custom banner into the slot that you just bought (It will be something like A3-5).
Note: These you only own this custom slot for 30 days till you have to bid on it again to keep your banner.
Then to use your banner in-game you need to edit your char to use the banner that is of the slot that you bought. You can find out what banner you are supposed to use back in the ladder>clan>overview>banner tab, right next to regular banner it will say images, click on that and it will show all the banners (Not the custom ones) and what slot they occupy.
The easier way to use your banner in-game is just click on "use clan's banner" on the bottom when selecting a banner for your character.
Hope I covered everything you need to do.

You did a great job, thank you. 'Cept that sounds like a pretty stupid system; I dont want to pay 30k every month just to have my custom banner. :/

Yea why is it that you have to pay so much for something you put all the work into?
-
For one, it lowers cRPG inflation

inflation as in?
-
The excessive amounts of cRPG gold and the general rising in price of looms/loompoints.
