Link http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/260688528/clang (didn't really know wtf this thread meant until remembered that)

Does he actually have proven game developers or is he just going for realism = fun with this? Its one thing making a complex fighting system, its a whole other beast to make it fun to play.

They are aiming for both as far as I know by incorporating a hard core modish thing but it beyond early days lol It's a foetus and at the moment people are still in a heated debate as to whether it is even "alive" or not.

It always sux that im a hater, but I just dont see it in this game, somehow feel that the money is just wasted. They just aimed way too high with this.... :(

Pretty sure everyone here is expecting it to be like M&B massive battles between players but with acctual awesome 2h swordfights. Or those massive medieval battles where guys beat eachother with soft swords, only more bloody and gorey and less humiliating. But I just dont see potential in this as every movement controller console currently on the market is complete crap. Nodoubt it will never obey me, like I want it to...... Unless a new controller is made from the holy grail itself.

AAAAND than there is the PvP fights, which as we all know from previous motion games, will just end up  with players just swinging their arms/some controller very fast infront of their room to spam attacks like they are on fire.

$400,000+ dollars to goof off with expensive motion capture technology. I can't see a motion controller translating that well for something like this when there's no feedback outside of maybe rumbling in your hand and visual/audio cues. Maybe if the game were in slow motion but I can't see any real precision coming out of this with no sense of proprioception in a virtual environment.

Hopefully I'm wrong though.
