Title: Some armors that should be scrapped

Seeing as we're getting more and more cool looking and well detailed armors to cRPG, I believe it's also time to review some of the armors we have now that are not of the best quality and just don't fit very well with the good looking armors.

These are the ones I would dump (or replace model/texture):

Light Strange Armor

Heavy Strange Armor
visitors can't see pics , please register or login


Heavy Plate Armor
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

what will all the guys do that have +3 heavy plate?  or in general all the guys loving and wearing it??

Seriously tho, if any of them has model replaced it's fine, if the armor is removed it would be fair for them to get the loom points.

Autunm 2010.
After 176 hours in my first 2 weeks in this mod, I happily buyed this as my 2nd heavy armor....and was immensly dissapointed.

Srsly, heavy plate is the 2nd ugliest armor right after black armor.

Speaking of black armor....
It just took 1 1/2 years for the model to be changed to the new, 18th century pikeman / conquistador apeshit.

So even when it gets changed, ETA 2014.

Leave the weaboo stuff as it is, maybe just refine it a little.

Idc about the heavy plate armor, allthough it's ugly as fuck but atleast it isn't retarded ninja/samurai equipment which, for me, destroy the immersion of a medieval battlefield.

The new black armour was punishment from chadz.

He was sick of people calling the black plate ugly so he made the populous pay.

Heavy plate just needs a QUALITY texture redo. If you look at the texture for it it's hilariously bad (also shares same tex file as old black armor). Also as hideous as the old black armor was I hoped a replacement for it would be in a similar style. Bring back the old black plate with a GOOD texture (keep the new black plate too of course).

The only person I've EVER seen wearing heavy plate is NoSBoH.
Very hideous, and I'm sure there are other models for heavy plate.

would indeed be cool to replace the textures, imo dont remove the armors, there should be that spot in crpg for the weaboos,

A little variety is only for the better. Even if it allows for atrocious armor combinations.

I love my +3 heavy plate.  It looks good with normal great helm.  Id be happy if they updated textures though

I don't get you son.

the heavy strange is the only one that looks goodt. Pretty sure I said as much in the thread where ujin suggested they be added.

infact the "strange armour" is probably the worst of the lot, looks like a childrens costume. Yet this is the one you want to keep?
