EDIT : So no exposed body parts I know this now. How about just implement the boots which look amazingly smexy. The hats look cool too :D

Some look a bit too modern for some reason, the rest look nord-like, especially the one on the very right of the first wide picture

We definitely need more representation of Northern Europe and the Isles in this game, especially if people are going to go about on their Eurocentric crusades.  If we can get more Scottish armor in here to compliment gains in Saracen/Arabic armor, then I'm all for it.

Yeah, I suggested it recently, as adding the Targe ingame, but thread basically became a "Add all Yamabushi's Scottish Highlander gear" thread

Don't know why, if it's been suggested for 1 1/2 years like you said, it hasn't been added ingame yet. Seems like a bit of a no-brainer to me

Yes yes Yamabusi is a good and all the shit he makes is hot and gets me wet.

Unfortunatly the arms on some of the armour don't change with the skin colour of the players toon. I would like you to note the word SOME! So that is the reason that pack hasn't been brought in or at least that's the BS I've been fed. But god damn it how I've wanted this...

I talked about Highlander gear to Shik when it came up first cuz it's ridiculously awesome. He said it never will happen cuz of the naked legs.
When people create a black dude, the legs will still have the white texture... So effort would be involved that no one is willing to put into.

So, unfortunately we won't get that.

Oh right, forgot about that.  :rolleyes:

Hopefully M&B2 will change it so the character wears the armor, instead of the character's torso and upper legs and arms transforming into the armor.

The legs aren't naked on a bunch of the models, I was told that guff as well.

Some are but for instance on the Taleworld forum the first pic you see with the backs of the models they have leggings on. No skin is visible apart from the hands and face.

The fancy and the awesome looking leather ones have visible legs and arms but that's it.

The green shirt, lamellar looking stuff and the heavy armour are all clear. No legs or arms show :(

Thanks for shedding some light onto why it hasn't been added yet. But that only applies to the clothing/armor, what about the Targe, Scottish broadsword and Dirk?

If I remember correctly, the devs do not want to integrate models that contain parts of the body exposed.
It is therefore unlikely that we get these armor one day..  :|

I looked at the pictures... the only body parts I saw exposed were the hands and head... which as far as I know are separate anyways. Can somebody please point out the 'exposed body parts' ?

Unless you are referring to the other armor, which shows collarbone and part of the lower arm near the elbow... Maybe knees, it's kinda hard to tell if that's supposed to be leggings like in the other one or if it's just a really oddly textured/modeled knee.

They are referring to the legs.

If you have a different skin type, you will have oddly light or dark legs compared to it.

But they looks like pants anyway, older/ other models had really exposed legs.

 I don't think legs are a big problem. I'm not even sure it's a problem because it looks more like pants.

Yeah the legs looked like they were pants tucked into the boots to me, at least in the image I linked.

If you got permission to edit them so they look more like pants/trousers then there should be no problem, right?

ahem, are you blind. Look at his skin color then look back at the legs and then you will probably notice that the legs are pants. No need modding since there is only hands and heads exposed. The legs are leather or well cloth.

Then whats the problem by adding them? I love the noblemans hat !

Erm Scots didn't start wearing Kilts till the early 18th century. They used to dress pretty much like the English before then. But then again I guess Mel Gibson must be right.
