Does cRPG community like Crushthrough?
Edit: Care to say why, too? :)
-
Cause its fun to make noobs cry so i voted yes.
-
I've found myself cursing more than once when a tank with great maul bashes my head into asunder even though I attempt to block the strike with a shield. Neverthless I do not stand up for removing it from the game; it brings an exciting addition and a feeling of danger to the game. If it was to be removed, great maul would become somewhat useless weapon(unless it was given more damage against armored opponents).

BUFF LONGMAUL

Crushthrough already got a big nerf with the reduced turning speed.
Anyway, crushthrough is easy to counter unless:
1. You get surprised.
2. You're outnumbered.
3. You are bad.
As to why I like it...it's fun to use and good for beating down turtlers. Also surprising someone with it and knocking them down is hilarious. Oh, and it makes such a satisfying sound.
-
Crush should not ever stun while successfully blocked.
-
Right now CT is fine because of turn-speed nerf. Never actually liked that mechanics but it isn't OP anymore, because exploit has been patched.
-
Crushthrough it absolutely fine now. Good to have this mechanic.

If a weapon weighs enough to have crushthrough then it weighs enough to be picked up slower after swinging.
-
I like Crushthrough. It fucks up the autoblocking greatsword my old friends. And it's fun to see them cry also.
-
Crushthrough is a good mechanic
-
Boulder on a stick anyone? :D
-
I suppose I get more annoyed by the high knockdown rate on the weapons with crushthrough than the actual crushthrough itself. I wouldn't say I like it, but I see why it's necessary to have something like it and they give some lols once in a while. With the lower overhead spin rate, it's definitely much harder to perform in a group fight.
-
I voted "I don't know" when what I really meant was "I don't care".
Crushthrough is fine. I don't use it, but I have no problems with it considering all the disadvantages with them. Fighting someone who can block very well and can overhead chamber well is scary, but most of the time they are fodder when caught 1v1.
..I wouldn't say "I like it" but I don't dislike it.

I vote that we bring back the Boulder on a Stick and the Looney Toons Axe.

you forgot about
4. you glance on their loomed plate armor and get knocked down and/or hulk smashed to death.
That being said, I think its fine.
-
its fine adds variety to combat and different styles is what makes crpg the greatest
-
I like it, cause it adds variety to combat. If you see somebody with maul, you have to change fighting style. If he is going to overhead, spam him, if he is doing a left swing, normal block. Same if you use it yourself, its not that easy to decide when to use overhead.

Crushthrough is a good mechanic
Crushthrough would be a good mechanic if the opponent wouldn't be chain-killed by it like it's currently (you can't get a swing after you were CT against decent enemy). So it would be good IF it wouldn't stun and breaking the animation would be very brief.
-
I don't like it, so I answered no. Wouldn't want it nerfed though.
-
I vote that we bring back the Boulder on a Stick and the Looney Toons Axe.
And Lance of Compensation
Edit: Stop minusing me you fail failland troll who herp'd and bought new account just for forum.

This +1
-
Make it harder to swing continuously and it's fine. Continuous overheads is just silly.
-
i dont get why its harder to block with shield then with a 1h or 2h weapon
