Title: Inventory storage and preselected loadouts
Post by: oprah_winfrey on June 28, 2012, 10:47:07 pm
Would it be possible to implement these two features on the website?

Inventory Storage- Be able to move items that you own into a storage space. This will clean up some of the clutter of choosing items ingame, since I don't need to see my two handers when I am doing sword and board, and vice versa. This would also remove the problem of having too many items in your inventory, and they don't all show up in game.

Preselected loadouts- It is nice that we have the ability to have a default loadout, but would it be possible to have a few loadouts that you can quick change to? This would help players who are hybrids and use different gear when mounted and not (not just the horse and lance). This would also help players that change their gear depending on their multi because they don't have a lot of gold to spend.

Would be nice, but how long does it really take to change a few options in game? Seems kinda like an excuse to be lazy, at the expense of someones time to code the change.

That being said, I'm all for being lazy.

many games have loadout saves, because its convenient, instead of messing with this and wasting 5-10 seconds every round to switch stuff.

Other then just being lazy, the most glaring reason is if you live the whole round and want to change items, then you spawn next round a little late and a lancer already has a couched lance coming at your face.

I always wish for that in DTV. When switching outfit, weapon and ammo type depending on the wave I have to click like a maniac to not get kicked for spawning late.
