Lots of people are...what are you looking to accomplish (i.e. what will you use the computer for, obviously gaming, but do you need to do any CAD or photo editing)?  What is your current hardware (so we know what you can cannibalize and use in your "new" system)?  I'm sure you can get a lot of opinions in here if you provide that information.

Well I would just like to upgrade it for gaming. Here are some basic specs

6 AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1035T Processor (s)
ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
8 Gigs of Ram

Now thats just some basics. What I am confused about is why do I have two display adaptors? Would I have to upgrade the 3000 or the HD 5700?

yes, that would have been my first question. do you really have two? both numbers are only series from ATI. You have to get the specific labeling of your card. check out in hardware-manager.

Integrated Graphics Card, probably.

I was just looking under "Devices and Printers" and then I selected my tower and went under hardware and was reading directly from that, and it gave me both display adapters. So would I just have to upgrade the 3000 graphics card to something higher but yet compatible with my other graphics card?  (ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series)?

Why/how would you update an INTEGRATED GPU?

Your 5700 is being used anyway.

you just remove cover, and remove that card in bottom of motherboard, and replace it with other card you want to buy.
Or buy new card, and bring that pc to computer service where you bought card and let them replace it and install it.

ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics is integrated card and you remove it drivers and disable it in bios
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series is not integrated and you can replae it with other card you want.
