Title: Warm Up round.

When map change occurs, 75% the first round ends up bad for one side because of no banner balance,what I suggest is add a 1 min warmup round ,no xp nor gold and repairs,but just for the autobalance to happen so both teams can be equal.

Just make banner balance work from the first round on.  :mrgreen:

yeah I agree,I also get pissed coz of I had like 2 maps x5 and then the freaking 1st round on a new map punch me in da face

1 min warmup would be nice to people can download the map, preventing start lag. Another good idea from Panos!

I think 30 seconds or a minute is a good idea for a warmup.  Nothing more annoying than having to download a map with x5 and at minimum you miss the 30 second first tick, and at max you lose your multiplier because you weren't able to join in time.

I posted this idea a while back. I believe the response was that it's "hard to implement." I proposed 20 seconds as opposed to 60 seconds though.

I think it is not a bad idea, but 1 minute is far too much. Maps are downloaded in less than 30 seconds therefore half a minute should be alright... and even that will be hated by me already if I dont have to dl anything :D

I don't think you understand that dev team is broken up into divisions. Not everyone works on one project.

I don't think that you understand that every time they implement new items, or change existing item stats it has a ripple effect on everything in the game. One nerf can easily lead to 10 more nerfs and buffs.

great idea! I always get this massive lag in the first round usually ending up in me being spawnraped by cav.  :evil:

This would also fix the problem with siege destructable doors having lower HP (for anyone that doesnt know, right now on siege doors have lower xp first round because it calcs the HP based on population and at the start of the new map not everyone has gotten in yet)

I thought that the HP goes up when defense wins rounds.
