Title: BUFF ELDER'S CUDGEL

When you loom other peasant items, typically you get a total of 5 bonus stats. You get +4 damage at level 3, and +1 speed. Cudgel only gets +3 damage! WTF! Get on it Devs!

Ah yes but compared to other peasant weapons it receives less stat bonus for looming!

As a man whose only loom is the Elder's Cudgel, I agree.

Furthermore, I think that the cudgel should be throwable, it was a throwable weapon in Temple of Elemental Evil [:|]

Yeah, just doesn't make sense why this one particular peasant weapon gets the nerf against others? it only does blunt damage not that much

Also, to actually answer the op, I don't see a reason why the cudgel should get worse heirlooming bonus than other peasant weapons. Buff cudgel heirloom! :)

Buff peasant heirlooms to +6, apprentice looms to +4 and keep every weapon that costs more than 4000 gold as it is.

no,don't do it. That weapon is not shitty as it looks. in 2h mode with proper agi whore build is weapon of mass destruction. It should be nerfed.
Don't let them fool you that crudgel is not usless.

Pro-tip: When agi whore with cudgel or mace is surging forward spamming, just backpedal spam or kick slash.

i have elder's cudgel and it's pretty good , at least as 1 upkeep weapon. 102 speed and 23b + knockdown

And really short. Quarterstaff is better imo. But still, coudln't hurt to buff peasant weapons.

Upkeep is a joke anyways, everyone is avoiding it by selling loompoints.

Exactly, I'm not saying cudgel is bad, just saying compared state wise to the bonus other peasant weapon gets it's inferior

The weapon would be too good for the cost(23g) on top of being able to switch into 2h mode.  Blunt is the best kind of damage, this was probably taken into consideration.

1 Damage is a lot, you have to remember that these are the base numbers that the damage formulas work off of.

For example, compare 1 to 2.  If you multiply it by 5, you would get 5 / 10. Saavy?
