This isn't the forum where old threads are being updated, soon as thread goes to page 2 no one bothers to search for it. Opening new threads with the same topic is something you'll have to get used to.
Also, this is almost a brainstorming.
I've just posted compilation of all ideas I have atm. I encourage others to do the same. One of ideas I posted has been implemented. Probably not because I posted it here but it shows that some things are changing and that your idea might get approval of developers one day.

good ideas, as soon as they implement 31+ rewards for retiring I´ll retire my main and make it my first real hoplite, alway wanted to try that class/playstyle. :mrgreen:

I have (for me) new idea but probably it has been mentioned a lot.
Buff stones
Buff their damage a bit but buff their accuracy a lot. Also change their weight so they are either 0.5 or 1.0. That's not realistic but serves a purpose. With already suggested archery melee buff this is just another step to prevent kiting. If you buff stones, dedicated stone throwers will become viable again. Also, anyone who has no throwing skill will be able to interupt archers, preventing them from running. Atm, archers only fear agi shielders but after this change they would fear agi builds without shield as well.

Was thinking about making a thread about buffing useless swing directions. There's no point in having swing directions you'll want to use 90+% of the time compared to others.

Add a high/low stab for all mono-attack pole arms, long spear, pike & hoplites. Also replace all thrust centric polearm over heads with the high thrust ie bamboo spear, awlpikes, forks.
Increase Bard & poleaxe damage to obscene levels some where between 50-55, but only with the new active end patch.

Agreed on the twohanders usable with shield. They are completely useless right now, they should become atleast viable.
Agreed on the hoplites, removing polestagger hurt their effectiviy quite bad and they weren't a fantastic class to begin with. Give them more damage!
Archery should get a lot more melee viability while their ranged effectivity should stay the same. Being able to reach sprint speed should be removed when carrying a bow.
Iron staff should not become 1 slot.
Buff the long hafted maces, they used to be OP as fuck but got severely overnerfed.
Nerf the great maul, this weapon is OP. Equalize it with the Long Maul. The balance between the long maul and great maul is really fucked up. Long maul gets way lower damage, way lower speed and way lower weight for having more range which is not that useful in the end.

Forgot about the 4 directional spears. They should have their sideswing damage buffed. The sideswings are really low damage and their main use was causing polestagger so you could get a stab in. With polestagger gone these weapons took quite an effectivity hit.

Buff hybrids. Mod has become karasu's dream (rock, paper, scissors bullshit).
Xbow hybrids are everywhere because you only pay upkeep for it. Thrower hybrids need some wpf and 4 to 5 point in PT to be very effective.
On the other side we have certain melee hybrid builds which aren't possible anymore because of slot system. Also archery hybrids are still too weak compared to xbow and thrower hybrids.
You can change XP zystem but that won't change the fact that outcome of the round is based on which team has more players of certain class that is favored on certain map (most of the time those are either archers or cav).

IMO Throwing junk should become 2 slot again, but add like 1 or 2 spears/axes to each stack and then increase the damage significantly. I think throwing should pack a big punch but have little ammo..

They already have low ammo and you want them to have even less. Is that Trollhammerin talking through you, Gravoth? :P
