He was on steam the other night playing some gay no-name game.
World of Warcraft?
That would be hilarious. I can't really imagine how somebody after the directional combat, could turn back to something like WoW.
At least I couldn't.
I tried getting into LotRO after it came out on steam. Found myself cursing the developers for not adding in Warband's directional combat. It would work, I swear. :PAs excited as I was by being an elf archer, and even possibly making a monster character, I could not leave LoTRO on my hardrive for long.

He will be back.
Im glad hes gone. Its annoying seeing people who quit the game 6 months ago still posting around here. (No playing the game for an hour every 2 weeks doesnt count as being active.)

Tears of Destiny died in a car crash after drinking too much at a friend's house.
He took a sharp turn and it got the best of him, he plummeted down and died on impact.

I just realized that he is Tears_of_Destiny of Fallen, not "Fallen_Tears_of_Destiny"
About 5 months. To be fair, ToD was one of the first players I met and remembered, and I only found out about the Fallen clan 2-3 weeks ago so he's always been "Fallen_Tears_of_Destiny" to me.
I'm honestly dumbfounded. Although to be fair fallen hasn't really had a strong showing lately, unlike a year or so ago. That's when they were all archers. One of the first groups I remember that worked together on a consistent basis and had infantry protect the archers.
