Aimbot would be pointless in this game anyway due to the randomness of projectiles. Sure the reticle might center on someone's head, but we all know that arrows don't fly dead center in this game.

It would still give them the best possible chance to hit a target within effective range. People cheat to get an advantage over other players, however big or small.

To be fair, Harmless Peasant is on almost every day in the NA Siege Server.

Hmm, pretty sure APB aimbots also eliminated projectile spread.  Everything became a sniper rifle.

Question is whether it can properly account for movement, since this game's projectiles aren't instant.

Still, even if it had these flaws I can see people using it and benefitting.  The ability to turn 180 degrees and snapshot someone in the face that was sneaking up on you would certainly have its uses.

Basically I don't like the "oh it's probably pointless" arguments because I'd rather the threat be taken seriously and addressed in any way possible, if it exists.  Bans, permanent bans, finding out where they live, that sort of thing.

Yes, there is such thing an aimbot, and no, I do not have it, nor will I use it, nor do I know where to get it.

And it looks to me like the Occitan person is just asking if it exists, not actually asking where he can acquire it.
