Title: Punishment request

My friend William Hamleigh requested for me to put up these screenshots and request some kind of punishment for the player Ninja_Aiko for placing construction sites on a flight of stairs which were the only way up to his position, William tells me he stayed like that for atleast 1 minute at the end of the rounds and did it several rounds over. I'm not sure how the rules work but i'm pretty sure that this atleast deserves a warning.
Oh and the reason William can't post this is because somebody has been giving him - points and he got muted (for some reason)

I can confirm this, also placed it on the house of the lake/boat map making it unreachable, dont have the screens tho from that :/

I think a warning would be apropriate since Aiko was conviced that it was ok to do this when we talked to him.

Well placing ladders and camping unreachable roofs are fine, until you are the last-man-standing..Why shouldnt this be equally fine?

Read rules, guys.

Lets go for a trip into the darkest place in this forum:

Glitching is allowed, being an asshat isn't
OK: hiding (e.g. in the hay)
NOT OK: hiding when last man standing (e.g. delaying)
OK: using a ladder to reach a roof that can't be reached normally
OK: camping unreachable places in the middle of the round
NOT OK: camping unreachable places when last group of men standing (e.g. delaying)
NOT OK: exploiting invisible barriers
NOT OK: going out of map bounds (if you can see unfinished parts of the map, then you should not be there)
NOT OK: ladderpulting
If you're stuck, change team to spectators or rejoin the server, otherwise you will be considered a leecher.

Ok. AFAIK (but i might be wrong, maybe you know better) I jumped off every time even BEFORE i was last man standing.
And, AFAIK (but i might be wrong, maybe you know better) placing CS properly makes place unreachable. That's what I did. Now look at red part. LAST GROUP OF MEN STANDING. I wasn't last.

I'm done.

well the rules say that you can be on unreachable places but it also says that you cant block with consights but if you block like he did here he is in a unreachable place witch is allowed but he also blocks with a con to make it a unreachable place

I think this is a clearly a loop hole in the rules and this must be changed asp
so he both broke the rule and at the same time did not it al depends on how you inturpet the rules

I think this is so unclear that this post should be closed

I think the discussion is helpful as you have pointed out there is clear ambiguity in the rules that could do with a better definition IMO.

A stairs to single ruin aren't a passageway, or am I wrong? For me, everything is clear in rules.

Common sense trumps 'Pretty sure this qualifies as being an asshat' every time.
 Camping unreachable areas (not as last-man standing, mind you) is something nearly every player in cRPG does on a regular basis.
Whats the difference between camping like dravic or say a random archer on a roof-top?

Passageway. Any way for passing in, out or through something. (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/passageway). Also, making a spot like that and hiding in there could be considered leeching by some people.

This is clearly against the rules. Stop doing stuff like that, it's lame and silly.
