buff/nerf nodachi to less damage, more speed and the giggly polearm thrust. Put it back in the hands of ninjas and samurai and not these plated scrubs.

The movement speed penalty from using a weapon that long means you probably wouldn't want to use it on a 12 str build anyways. You would be sacrificing a ton of your speed, in which case you may as well roll a build with higher strength.

If you wanna nerf it, why not remove it directly? If not, leave it...

Because I want the damage nerf, speed buff, and the weapon in the hands of weaboos, not tincans who should use cleaver/SoW/Highlander.

I find myself agreeing with Zisa here. Give it a little speed, take a chunk of it's damage, lower its requirement to say 13 str (so it keeps the difficulty-non-divisible-by-3 attribute), give it back it's polethrust (none of this 17p MWkatana BS either) and call it weeaboo.
I agree that the Nodachi should not just be a slightly different version of the War Cleaver as it is now.

Could you be a bit more specific about what stats you want the Nodachi change back to?

Sorry I do not recal the old stats for Nodachi, only that it was 12 strength required, faster, less cut with a polearm thrust.

I can't recall either, so to aid discussion I offer my opinion on what I think the Nodachi's stats should be a bit more like;

Nodachi;
weight: 3.5
difficulty: 13
speed rating: 94
weapon length: 122
thrust damage: 20 pierce
swing damage: 37 cut
slots: 2
Can't use on horseback

Seem unfair to you? 6 cut for 3 speed, a workable stab and -2 difficulty?
Maybe the difficulty should remain unchanged? I'm not sure.

Make the difficulty 12, other wise expect 'ninjas' to go to 15. I'd suggest 39 cut.
